Join Birds Canada and Brampton Library for an urban Big Sit to enjoy the wonders of spring migration! What is a Big Sit? Big Sits are counting events with the aim of finding as many species of birds as possible while staying within a defined circle.

This event is for all ages and birdwatching levels. There will be birding experts onsite to guide your experience. Our Big Sit circle will be located in Conservation Drive Park in Brampton, near the baseball diamonds. Chairs and binoculars will be provided, as will clipboards and checklists. Attend in-person and enter to win a pair of new binoculars from Kowa Optics!

Place a hold on a Bird Kit from Brampton Library with your library card and pick up the kit at the big sit event. Don’t have a library card, You can apply online or visit any Brampton Library location.
