This will be one of the best drawing lessons you will ever receive.

Sandra Iskandar is an Architect and Educator and has drawn as long as she can remember.  She believes that learning through drawing and sketching is a wonderful way to become more mindful and a good way to be in the moment, it’s a delightful way to learn about nature and become a better observer.  The Art of Mindful Drawing is an introductory step by step lesson which lends itself to all age groups of all level, it’s a wonderful family activity for birders who want to become better journalists. One learns to take the time to pause and observe and open oneself up to countless discoveries, one will come to realize the joy and intimacy of recording personal observations in nature and build confidence in capturing them on paper.  We will draw one of this years’ two celebirdies: the Blackburnian Warbler and the Black-Crown Heron.

Level: Introductory
