Planet in Focus Environmental Film Festival comes to the Toronto Bird Celebration, with a bird-filled watch party! Join Jody Allair, Birds Canada Director for Citizen Science and Andrés Jiménez Planet in Focus Board Member in an intimate Q&A session with Paul Riss, the punk-rock birder and leading character of this documentary that tells how the climate crisis is affecting birds, from the viewpoint of birders.

Then get your popcorn and bird-friendly coffee to enjoy the movie — we recommend Balzac’s Atwood Blend!

Our host’s goals are to make sure Paul Riss, answers all your questions during the event. However… don’t you wish you could watch the movie with Paul? We will make it happen! Once the 30 min Q&A is over, join us for the watch party using CBC Gem where Paul will narrate some of the most intense moments with a unique and exclusive inside look at this documentary.

Simply, use the link we will send, hit play when Paul says “Go” and leave your Zoom window open with a volume that feels comfortable for you. NOTE: the Facebook live will end before the film once the Q&A is done. Register for the event, and we will send the calendar invitation, reminder details, and share the documentary link on the day of the event. Don’t want to join us on Zoom? Want to concentrate solely on the documentary? Mute Zoom and leave the chat open, share your experience with everyone. Follow along in Facebook Live the time and date of the event. We will share the details to watch the film there too.
