Having trouble telling the chirps and cheeps, trills and tremolos or hoots and honks apart while birding? Join the University of Guelph Arboretum’s Interpretive Biologist Chris Earley as he teaches you about bird sounds. Tips and tricks on remembering songs as well as identifying the singers will be covered. Using your ears is the key to becoming a better birder.

By the end of the webinar, attendees will….
…gain experience in describing and remembering bird sounds
…learn how to use a free web-based bird sound learning resource
…start the journey to doing eventual bird sound surveys
…have a chance to learn how to make some bird sounds themselves (and, thus, be a hit at every party)
