Description
A unique place providing grassland habitat for grassland birds in Toronto. Here you will find tallgrass prairies, meadows, ponds, forests, and evergreen tree groves. There are paved and unpaved trails with manageable slopes and some benches. For those with children, the playground at the starting point will be a highlight.
Highlights
These unique grasslands accommodate Northern Harrier, American Kestrel, Horned Lark, Field Sparrow, Savannah Sparrow, Bobolink and Eastern Meadowlark in summer and Short-eared Owl, Long-eared Owl, Snowy Owl and Northern Shrike in winter.
