Toronto’s Amazing Bird Life

Did you know that Toronto is home to lots of amazing rare and threatened birds? Join the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) staff to learn about some of the Species-At-Risk that share your city, your neighbourhood, or even your home! Learn how different types of urban spaces can attract and support a diversity of bird species, and how you can ensure their survival throughout the year. We’ll give an overview of the common nesting, wintering, and migratory birds that live throughout the GTA, as well as how to feed them and monitor them through using citizen science-based activities. We will even get outside in the neighbourhood to find some for ourselves!
