WEBINAR
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience the world like a bird? In celebration of Bird Week, join University of Toronto PhD student Else Mikkelsen for a look into the biology of bird senses and communication.
Else will compare the ways in which birds and humans see and hear, and discuss why both sound and colour are important for bird communication. You will also learn how the environment shapes their use of sound and colour through resource availability and other pressures and trade-offs.
